Happenings Holiday '09

He came over and asked me for $2.

then $1 after I waved him off. I waved too quick to realise it was a request made by a small tanned boy who looked less than 10year old.

I went to the bus stop, shaken by what I saw. A small boy.
Where were his parents? What if he was in some difficulties like the children in 'Slum dog millionaire'? I couldnt stopped pondering about that boy. I couldnt believe it. This happening here in Singpore.

That aside,holidays has been Awesome so far. I'm impressed by myself.
First I tot I had no job. But now, I'm actually holding 5 jobs at same time plus 1 class !
(Pls don tell me u work as a child for yr parents. pfft. )

Events during this holiday so far. (Just in case I forget =)).

1.Firstly, I took time off for swims, kayak, gym( once only) .

2.Then I helped out in Odac activity which I will again in Sept.

3.Other activities may include Badminton and steamboat session with Minghui, Manda, Alan and CCI gang,

4.MJ sessions with Van, Sox, Alan, Kevin, Joreen, Pearly, Ebonne, Perry, Nick, total of 3 cliques.

5.Tennis session with Yew Choon and Ashwin, total of 3 sessions so far. Lunch dates@ Old Airport Road after tennis.

6..Claypot rice with Secondary school clique

7.. Dim Sum at geylang with Sox and Van clique

8. Kuishin bo with Cindy and shufang and Cin's clique.

9.Faciliated some schools under CCI for topography lesson and leadership course.

10.Joined SIM Frisbee for trainings.

11.Clubbed with Kevin(bear), Joreen and gang. (Get the Pun?)

12.Read a few books

13.Not to mention going back to playing Lan, after so many years of retirement. LOL. L4D khakis: Ashwin, Perry, Nick. Also played with Alan, Cheeboon, Pearly, Kevin (Edis)

14.Birthday Parties which I will not blogged here cos I've done so previously!

Life is a series of rooms

I shall quickly pen this down while I'm still in the mood.

I'd like to talk about a specific type of people today.
You know the kind who dont commit to your appointment dates, then when the rest of you finally went out, they'd come, " EH, Bo Jio!". Don't you just feel like punching them?

Or the kind of people who always take you for granted. Dont give a shit about you during normal days, don reply your msges or turn you down when u ask them out. And by this, I'm DEFINITELY not pinpointing anyone( Bff and Ping take note. lol) as I've already blogged something like this previously(please refer to past entry). But this kinda issues never go away.

I'm sure most of us have this kind of friends. So what's the advice? I know some of us are soft hearted creatures. We keep trying and trying, feeling pek cek at the same time.
Personally, I'd advise leave them alone. Until they realised whats missing in their lives and then maybe they'll come find you. If they dont, then too bad. They probably dont realised that you're gone. It shows how 'important' you are to them.

I was asking Bff, I wondered if it was a bad habit. That I'd normally ask people out and after a few unsuccessful attempts, their names will automatically fall onto the black list.

Opportunities/chances dont come knocking at your door everyday. When they dont come anymore. You probably have to start CREATING them, instead of demanding like, ' Eh how come u don ask me out anymore' that kinda stuff. It's prolly your turn to ask them out.

Afterall friendship is about US.

I really dont mean to be rude or anything. No hard feelings.
It's probably in my blood but I definitely dont mean it.

All of you matters to me. And by all, I mean EVERYONE.
I just wish I could have more time to spend with all my friends.
Especially those intriguing ones.

I've always been playing with the idea of Death. I'm kinda interested what's it gonna be like after my death. Who's gonna be upset and stuff.

Job mentioned that Life invented death. But maybe it did not.
Sometimes Life is actually about death, if you think hard about it.
Eg, How people live for the sake of not suffering in hell.
Or maybe, the real life starts after death! =D

I'm loving and hating this all at the same time! =DD WOOT!

28th june. The banquet.

Shopped for the bed before the banquet with my dad. The mattress felt rather comfortable. It better be good given its exorbitant price! I'd have a new softmattress by wednesday. =D
Goodbye Mr kingkoil. Thanks for accompanying me every night for the past 10 over years. =(

The banquet was at Kuishin Bo. My first time there and it couldnt be better. With the company more than 10 people. Perry, ashwin, nick and darrell was present as well. Somewhere there. LOL

Cindy's camp included Yuen long, Cho Wei, darius, Silie and his gf, Shufang, Wendy, Me, of cos Desmond and Cindy followed by Shao ming and Hanyang who made a special guest appearance for 5mins.. I seriously find Cho Wei pretty funny. He has this thing around him which kinda makes him..glow. His humor ( not just lame jokes), his imagination, thinking and perceptions.
You can tell he's a thinker.

So we WHACKED the Alaskan Crabs first. Seriously, we did. Cindy almost whack it against the table man. LOL It was sweet and saltish at the same time juicy. Nice! A piece of advice if you're going there for dinner, please eat the crabs first. 吃回本钱 first! HAHAHAH!

I wnt describe the food here cos I'm not paid to advertise for them. So its best u go to their website. =D I went on to meet perry and gang for L4D. HAHAHAH

27th June

So I headed down to Ascotts apartment for Her party. I actually bumped into the barneys right outside Ascotts! What coincidence!

I noticed the windsurf gang addresses me by 'vroom vroom' now. ROARRR what was that sia! I actually wanted to comment about shiying looking nice on her 21st until she chided me for wanting to use the bathroom sink instead of the kitchen sink! She made a funny video thou. HAHAHAH!
(I wonder if any of them read this cos BFF actually linked me to her blog before.)

Barely spoke to huiwen on that night. I'm sorry!
Left with the barneys to Mel's chalet. I actually wanted to stay abit longer. Or at least have another piece of cake! But it'd be quite awkward to hang around then. I'd be Super out of place.

So went over to Mel's. She actually had a performance which we missed. She had a variety of cusine. From Chinese dim suum to Japanese sushi. we left around 11+. I accompanied Eunice to wait for quan bao. Eunice... someone I don see often but we can talk. =)

Ps: Shirleen if you're reading this, I'm poking you. AGAIN. HAHAHAH!

Went over to clarke quay for My primary school's gathering! It felt damn good!
To see everyone again. How the tall grew taller and short grew tall. DAMN! 2 of the guys are like 186cm. The average height of guys are like 175cm la. I felt like a dwarf there man!

I missed out on peishan ( my primary school crush who is now married) cos she went back early. I saw Lee Ping nevertheless. My partner for dono how many years! Cos our height progression chart were practically the same. We need to sit down for a chat soon man. =D Happy Happy.

When we, or rather they were deciding who to share cab with. I realised we all stay frigging near each other! 5 stays within my estate. 4stay down the road. 2 stay further down the road. All within radius of 2-3km from my house! I miss them man. The experience we shared was so wonderful. The small school, doing our little projects, our CCAs, eating our cheap food in canteen.

I think deep down inside, we all wish we were 'small' again.
Thats why we feel so happy together. I really miss the good old carefree times.
