Do you like who you choose, or Do you choose who you like?

Had badminton with the CFA gang on Friday before our dinner at Ashton. Havent played for so long! I could feel my body aching this morning. Went work later today after msm.

A blackout occured at work today and customers who walked in were offered a free beverage coupon each! How nice! It was tiring at work, but nevertheless, I'm happy whenever I work. Perhaps cos it takes my mind off studies, which I've been lagging far behind in. Saw my work schedule next week to be only 2days. Surprisingly, I was abit upset. Weird HUH~?

I was wondering, Do you choose who you like, Or do you like who you choose? You may like someone cos he's attractive, hes nice to you, charming etc. So you decided to make him yr bf. You like him, not cos you like him. Cos you want to like him. This is what I mean you choose who you like. Most probably it'd be an infatuation? These are the puppy love people.

So to avoid making the wrong decision, you decide to hang out with him more often thinking maybe u can get to know him better.. You feel comfortable when you're with him, talking to him etc. And then you like him. But you realised you like him AS A FREN. You know, the stage where once we're all frens, things become stagnant kind. These are the rational people. So what actually is true love? It's when you think he/she is your true love. Every relationship may be your true love. Or maybe, theres no true love at all. Its something people came up with to make themselves feel 'right'.

Being a sceptical person, I think humans, being superficial as we are, choose who to like.And often make mistakes. Of cos there are a few exceptions. Those who made it, and live happily together were probably lucky. The others could most probably be making bad decisions their whole lives, namely the puppy love people while the rational ones could probably be lonely for the rest of their lives.

Towards our 'maturing stage', everyone you see would be 'special' in your eyes probably due to the fact that you dowanna be left on the shelves, you're not attractive anymore or you do not have much choice due your limited social circle. Eventually, you'd find that Everyone has their flaws. You just have to make do with each other, tolerate each other,understand and forgive each other. Thats what our parents do right? In the end, everyone just get married to another average Jane/Joe. You just have to make do with what you have.

Not everyone get the babes/hunks all the time. Theres no Miss Perfect. Or Mr Right. Do we choose who we like. Or love (if exist) really infiltrate into you and your fren's emotional system as if shot by Cupid's arrow. What do you think?

Random tots:Or maybe we shouldnt group people we know as frens, lovers. We should just group them into lovers. Maybe the world will be a better place and filled with love. In that case, you can marry anyone you want!
